New sections: Entertainment Lounge, Technology

Hey everyone,

Glad to see you guys are enjoying the site. We had a chance to do some restructuring yesterday. We've added an "Entertainment Luonge" where you can also find a section for new music singles. As well, a "Technology" section has been added due to the interest in cell phones, video games, etc. These have come about due to requests from you guys, so if you have any other suggestions or ideas make sure to let us know. Hope you like the changes!

    out of curiousity, what exactly determines how some categories are under members only and some are open

    Just to clarify what exactly will be in the new categories:

    Entertainment Lounge:
    Movies, music, mp3s, videogames, television shows, etc.

    Tech & Electronics:
    Cellphones, laptops, ipods, computer talk, etc.

    I hope that's clear and also what was intended when the forums were designed. I've sorted them that way for now and we can address it if that brings up some issues... but it seems like a big improvement so far!

    Thanks for the question! The general topic sections are open to guest viewing, while education/career related sections are viewable by members only. This way, members have their own area to help with assignments, share exam tips, and discuss classes. As always, you must be registered to make or reply to posts anywhere on the site.
