Do people actually do it? Is it expected?

    It probably can't really hurt. But I never bothered with that and i'm doing just fine.

    ive never heard of that being expected, so i wouldnt think so. but some people do it as a way to follow up on an interview they havent heard back from. i personally have not done it either.

    Do it and they'll have a better impression, plus they'll remember you

    I only do it if it went well. if it didn't i just get the hell out and don't look back
