Question on Waitlist

So I am #3 on the waitlist for a 1st year summer course and I want to know what are my chances of getting in. What can I do to increase me chance of getting in? Should I talk to an advisor?

If the class begins and I am still on the waitlist, should I attend the class?

    What class is this for?

    And if the semester starts and you're still on the waitlist, I would advise you to attend the lectures still in the chance that you are able to enroll. Also, a lot of students tend to drop courses after the first week of the semester so there's a good chance you'll get in.
