BEd as a second degree through PDP
Hi everyone!
I heard that it is possible to obtain a Bachelor of Education as a second degree as you work on your PDP requirements. If so, how many courses are needed to complete the second degree (in addition to the PDP core requirements) are required? Does it take 2 years (one to complete the PDP program and another year for the degree?)? I already have a BA from SFU, but I would like to complete a second degree also.
I have not been admitted into the January 2016 PDP intake yet (I will know if I am admitted in September 2015 - fingers crossed!). I will have the Fall 2015 semester off and I was wondering if I should reactivate my status at SFU and take a few education courses during that time. This way, I can be productive with my time and avoid waiting around to complete ny second degree requirments after I finish PDP.
If someone has completed their second degree (BEd) and PDP can offer me some guidance it will be greatly appreciated. I am honestly a little bit lost/confused about what is required for the second degree option.
Thanks!
